The theme of the rave im going to is "fairys and elves". Its all ages in the Bay area. Anyways, I need some crazy makeup tutorials and fashion advice. That would help me a lot. Also, what do I bring, what can I expect? Im a complete rave virgin. Any info on what goes on in raves and how I can prepare myself would be greatly appreciated!

You don't have to buy the costumes, but an old skimpy dress with some modifications(like the leave shape cuts at the hem), fishnets or pantyhose and glitter would do wonders. For fairy and pixie makeup i would suggest a lot of accentuation to the eyes with bright colours and glitter.

You can imitate the makeup and hairstyles and other tips done on the site.

Tip: If you have bronzers (cream or loose powder forms)put them on your face neck and back along with some glitter. High heels would be ideal but you'd be jumping around at a rave so thongs (attractive ones) would be good too.You can modify it with some leaves or flowers. :) Good luck!

P.s.

if u're gonna "trip" at the party, drink lots and lots and lots of water. Make sure yuo're with a good group of friends. Don't do acid.
