I'm not going to be that old in a long while but my oldest brother still gets friend requests from 15 year olds. Do they just see someone's picture and think 'oh he looks cool I'll check out his profile' or something or is it because of similar interests?

Just as everyone else said it could be spammers someone who thinks they know him, someone who has a similar interest or a on line predator. Just deny the request.

or child molesters. sick perverts they are out there! and too many of them! so be ware. I think that if you are under 16 there should be some sort of a block that doesn't allow you to have friends over a certain age, or maybe just raise the age limit to 18.
